SELF EVALUATION IS A DIALOGUE
AN INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON
SELF EVALUATION AT SCHOOL
HOTEL NOVAPARK, GRAZ, AUSTRIA 22 – 26 SEPTEMBER 2004
“Self-evaluation is a dialogue" is the third international conference on self-evaluation at school organized by the I-ProbeNet network. In previous years we have focussed on planning self-evaluation and self-evaluation as a learning process. In Graz we will emphasise the social processes involved in self-evaluation through dialogue and interaction. We will not only look at dialogue and interaction at individual, group and school levels, but also deal with these processes from international and European perspectives.
The following areas will be explored in keynotes and workshops:
The target groups are: school teachers, project coordinators, school leaders, teacher trainers, policy makers, inspectors, academics and others interested in the process of self- evaluation at school.
- within the school community
- across the local community and with stakeholders
- in the context of the education system and priorities
Participants will not only learn about self-evaluation at school, share information with experts and colleagues, get material and tools but will also have opportunities to find partners for cooperation.
